About the Bulldogs

The Valley Bulldogs Rugby Football Club is an extremely social organization which has experienced great on-field accomplishment in the past few years. Founded in 1987, the Bulldogs have achieved success at the provincial and Maritime levels, winning 1st and 2nd division titles in the past few seasons. Currently the club runs three teams consisting of a Junior Team, 2nd Division Team and 1st Division Team. In 2008 the Bulldogs took home the Caledonia Cup after winning the 1st Division Maritime Championship!

We draw players from all over the province, and once a member you'll see why our club members maintain close contact should they have to move from the province. Past players frequently rejoin us at tournaments and gatherings throughout the year. We have a brother club in Florida, The Orlando Griffins, and we come together annually to compete as the "Griffdogs". The Bulldogs are also affiliated with the local women's club, The Valley Tide R.F.C.

Our primary sponsor, The Kings Arms Pub provides us with an exceptional venue for social gatherings in Kentville, and we meet regularly during and outside the season to celebrate!
